Dr. Gabrielle (Elle) Geddes is a pediatrician and medical geneticist at Riley Hospital for Children. She specializes in the genetics of congenital heart disease (CHD) with a special interest in standardizing genetic assessments and how genetic diagnoses can affect surgical outcomes. She is working on how to leverage clinical informatics to improve care for patients with rare genetic disease, including those with heterotaxy. She has a special dedication to people affected by heterotaxy and is passionate about working to improve their health and happiness.
Dr. Geddes completed her medical degree at University of Illinois-Chicago in 2010 which was followed by her pediatric residency at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital completed in 2013 and her clinical genetics residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin completed in 2015. She recently completed a master's degree in health and clinical informatics at Oregon Health and Science University in 2025.
