Shaine A. Morris, MD, MPH

Dr. Shaine A. Morris, MD, MPH, is a pediatric cardiologist and epidemiologist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. She serves as Associate Chief of Cardiology, Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Genetics Program, and Program Director of the Advanced Fellowship in Cardiovascular Genetics. She also serves as the Scientific Director of the Collaborative for Longitudinal Aortic Research in The Young (CLARITY) and the Publications Chair for the Fetal Heart Society. Dr. Morris specializes in cardiovascular imaging including fetal cardiology and cardiovascular genetics, and her research mostly focuses on genetically-mediated aortic disease in children and young adults, as well as fetal and perinatal outcomes in congenital heart disease, often combining large datasets, deep phenotyping , and thoughtful analysis appropriate for rare disease research.
