Vanderbilt University Medical Center

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006 from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. I then attended medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis. After graduation I moved to Nashville for my pediatric residency at Vanderbilt. I short tracked into pediatric pulmonary fellowship after two years of residency and completed four years of fellowship. I am currently the PCD clinical center director at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. I’ve been faculty at Vanderbilt for 10 years, now as an associate professor of pediatric pulmonary medicine. My focus in PCD has been on the development of the North American PCD Foundation clinical registry. During this process I have worked with a talented team of co-investigators to develop the regulatory process for the registry, create initial data variables, and have helped to oversee initial data collection. The PCD registry is now entering its 6 year of data collection with over 30 sites entering data. I serve as the medical director for the registry and also serve on the PCD Foundation medical leadership committee, helping to oversee the activities of the clinical network.
