Necia Sabin is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Heterotaxy Connection. She first heard the word “heterotaxy” when her daughter was six, and years of surgeries and medical uncertainty pushed her to search for connection, practical guidance, and hope. That search helped spark Heterotaxy Connection—built so no family has to navigate this rare condition without community. Necia leads with a family-first mindset while advancing education, partnerships, and pathways that bring families and clinicians closer together. She is committed to making the road clearer for the next parent who hears this diagnosis for the first time, and to lifting up the voices of those living it every day.
